Death and Reported Roles
- Death: Mahdi Hassan Al-Mamlouk (مهدي حسن المملوك) was killed on November 11, 2024, reportedly due to a targeted Israeli airstrike near the Al-Shifa Medical Complex in the western part of Gaza City.
- Journalistic Association: The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) identified Mahdi Hassan Al-Mamlouk as an external broadcast engineer for Al-Quds Today TV (القدس اليوم), a satellite television channel affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist organisation.
- Militant Affiliation: Following his death, Mahdi Hassan Al-Mamlouk was portrayed in a tribute by a family member as an operative of a militant group wearing military fatigues. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) recognized him as the Deputy Head of the Central Communications Unit in Al-Quds Brigades Military Media (سرايا القدس الإعلام الحربي).
