Death and Reported Roles
- Death: Hassan Abdel Fattah Farajallah Farajallah (حسان عبد الفتاح فرج الله فرج الله) died on December 3, 2023, from critical injuries sustained in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza the day before.
- Journalistic Association: The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) identified Hassan Farajallah as an Al Quds TV executive. His alleged employer, the Al-Quds Today TV (Al-Quds Al-Youm / القدس اليوم), a satellite television channel affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group, referred to him as a journalist and a program host in a post commemorating his death. In reality, Farajallah was a full-time school teacher at Suad Al-Sabah Secondary School for Boys in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.
- Militant Affiliation: On March 19, 2026, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine, released an obituary for a group of military commanders who were killed during the “Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood,” which began on 7 October 2023. Among those named is Hassan Abdul Fattah Farajallah, a commander in PIJ’s Mobilization Unit of the Northern Brigade.
