Suzanne Williams
English lecturer and teacher at City of Bristol College | Bristol, England, UK
Background information
GnasherJew has identified Suzanne Williams, an English lecturer and teacher at City of Bristol College, behind the X account “Red ’til I’m Dead”, @suziegeewizz.
Her posts spread accusations against Jews, defend Nazi comparisons, dismiss Hamas atrocities, glorify terrorism, and share explicit support for Hamas. She also declares: ‘I don’t condemn Hamas’ and ‘Israel deserves a lot worse’.
“I don’t condemn Hamas”
Williams writes:
I don’t condemn Hamas.
In the same thread, she states:
I don’t believe anything Israel claims.
She then adds:
Israel deserves a lot worse. A country run by, and with a big population of, genocidal maniacs who have lost their collective humanity.
In another post, she dismisses Hamas atrocities as:
just mouth frothing, very online Zionists saying ‘trust me bro.’
A teacher refusing to condemn Hamas, dismissing its atrocities and saying Israel deserves worse raises serious questions for her employer.
support for banned terror organisations
Williams shared a post that glorifies ‘Tufan al-Aqsa’ (‘Al-Aqsa Flood’), the October 7 attacks led by Hamas, demonstrating an ideological alignment with or support for the group’s actions.
Another repost explicitly states support for Hamas. The shared text directly declares:
All decent and informed people support Hamas and all the armed Palestinian factions ...
This repost expresses explicit support and appreciation for Hamas and Hezbollah, along with other allied entities, for their actions against Israel.
Williams uses her platform to amplify a post that states unequivocal loyalty to Hamas:
I am defending Hamas. till my last breath.
Spreading allegations against Jews
Williams asks whether “90% of Jews” support a list of alleged crimes, including an unverified claim about sexual violence involving dogs. She continues:
Horrific if so. Such hateful extremists.
The allegation is not established fact. Williams provides no evidence for it in her post, but circulates it while suggesting that the overwhelming majority of Jews support horrific abuse.
This targets Jews as a group. The IHRA identifies demonising allegations about Jews and holding Jews collectively responsible for Israel’s actions as examples of antisemitism.
Defending Nazi comparisons
Williams explicitly defends comparing Israel to the Nazis:
It’s a legitimate if imprecise comparison. And the Warsaw ghetto in fact is a pretty precise reference.
Elsewhere, she writes:
EVERY Israeli that doesn’t stand against this is a Nazi collaborator.
This post by Williams contains both a Nazi comparison and a celebration of violence directed at Israelis.
The IHRA specifically lists comparisons between contemporary Israeli policy and the Nazis as an example of antisemitism.
Promoting conspiracy claims
Williams claims that Israel uses blackmail, bribery, threats against families and murder to control people. Her reply offers no evidence for these sweeping allegations.
This is conspiracy thinking presented as an explanation for political behaviour.
Dismissing antisemitism as “gas lighting”
Williams says she has never encountered antisemitism during 18 years of teaching, then declares:
This is now industrial strength gas lighting. Madness.
Yet her own posts contain sweeping allegations against Jews and repeated Nazi comparisons.
City of Bristol College should examine these posts. Jewish students and staff deserve to have concerns about antisemitism taken seriously, not dismissed as “gas lighting”. Furthermore, Counter Terrorism Policing should investigate whether her actions potentially breach the Terrorism Act.
