Background information
Abyd Quinn Aziz is a Reader in the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University and serves as the program director for the MA Social Work program. Recently, he has taken on a new role as a board member at Social Care Wales, the Country’s regulatory body for social work and social care. In addition, Abyd Quinn Aziz is a committee member of the British Association of Social Workers (BASW) Cymru, a trustee with Tros Gynnal Plant, and a member of the Race Alliance Wales steering group.
Abyd Quinn Aziz was recently photographed at a pro-Palestine protest dressed as a supposed Palestinian alongside “Mary and baby Jesus.” This image has raised concerns about an attempt to erase Jewish history. A review of his social media accounts revealed posts that appear to endorse Palestinian terrorism. We also found messages advocating for the destruction of the state of Israel and promoting antisemitism.
In this post, we present examples of his apparent support for the Hamas-led terror attacks on October 7 and expressions of antisemitism. We urge you to file a complaint regarding his online conduct with his employer(s) and to also report him to Counter Terrorism Policing.
