Death and Reported Roles
- Death: Hossam Saleh Al-Adlouni (حسام صالح العدلوني) was killed, along with his wife and three children, on July 13, 2025, reportedly as a result of an airstrike on a tent in the Al-Qarara area, north of Khan Yunis.
- Journalistic Association: The Palestinian Journalist Protection Center (مركز حماية الصحفيين الفلسطينيين) described Hossam Al-Adlouni as an independent photojournalist, while the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), which is widely recognized as a Hamas-affiliated media outlet, identified him as a journalist.
- Militant Affiliation: The Qassam Martyrs channel on Telegram posted a notice announcing Hossam Al-Adlouni’s death, referring to him as the commander in the Khan Yunis Brigade (the armed wing of Hamas). Additionally, his brother, Belal, shared a video tribute that included footage of Hossam in Qassam Brigades military fatigues.
