Investment advisor to the European Commission William Arnsson spreads antisemitism, holds extreme anti-Israel bias

William Arnsson (previous name Vedran Arnautovic) is an IT entrepreneur, a travel photographer, author, and, presumably, former investment advisor to the European Innovation Council (EIC) at the European Commission. Arnsson is founder-director at Wedran AB and a partner at Life Adventures Stockholm Trading Company – trading name “Top100 Wonders.”

At the end of May 2024, we conducted a review of Mr. William Arnsson’s social media accounts, and as a result of our findings, a complaint about his conduct online has been lodged. His name no longer appears on the list of EIC jury members. Presumably because of the complaint that was lodged based on our investigation.

We discovered that many of his posts on Israel, and Palestine / Gaza, are highly biased and likely fail the European Commission’s rules on the principles of objectivity and impartiality, and the guidelines on social media use.

Mr. Arnsson has also been found to be spreading misinformation, and expressing support for boycotts & sanctions against the Jewish State. Furthermore, we did not find any commentary nor social media posts by him ever condemning Hamas’ October 7 massacre of Jews, the hostage taking, Palestinian terrorism, and Hamas/Islamic Jihad indiscriminate rocket attacks. This is clear evidence of his lack of impartiality.

We also uncovered several posts on Mr. Arnsson’s LinkedIn page that are antisemitic based on the IHRA definition of antisemitism.

Notes:

  1. Blood libel traditionally referred to the false accusation that Jews used the blood of non-Jewish children for ritual purposes. The Nazis made effective use of the blood libel to demonise Jews, with Julius Streicher’s weekly tabloid Der Stürmer making frequent use of ritual murder imagery in its antisemitic propaganda. Now it has mutated once again “anti-Israel style” to falsely assert that Israel deliberately targets Palestinian children.
  2. Incorrect meaning of the word antisemitism, exclusively used by antisemites to undermine hatred of Jews.  Antisemitism is a word specifically used to mean hatred of Jews. Not the language groups semitic. He is even denying Jews the right to define the hatred shown to them.
