John F. Kennedy assassination – a Zionist conspiracy

On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was shot and killed while travelling in an open-top motorcade through Dallas, Texas, by Lee Harvey Oswald. Since his death hundreds of conspiracy theories have emerged accusing adversaries such as the Mafia, the Cuban Government. the CIA and even the Vice President, Lyndon B. Johnson, himself of organising the assassination.

Antisemitic conspiracy theorists would, naturally, turn to Jews and Zionists for their villain. Numerous claims and motives have been proposed, including allegations that the President was only invited to Dallas, by influential Jews, so his assassination could be carried out. But no one had invited the President to Dallas. Kennedy himself decided to tour Texas and make public addresses in San Antonio, Houston, Fort Worth, Dallas and Austin in an attempt to put an end to a long running feud between Vice President Johnson and two Democratic politicians who, as a show of unity, would accompany the President throughout his visit.

The most commonly repeated motive behind the Zionist plot to assassination the President revolves around Israel’s refusal to allow inspections of the Negev Nuclear Research Center, in Israel, often referred to as the ‘Dimona reactor’. Based on ‘research’ carried out by protagonists such as French conspiracy theorist Laurent Guyénot, an antisemite known for his many outlandish, often laughable, revelations, this theory is often embellished with the Kennedy ‘quote’ “One day after I am long gone you will remember me and say, we should have stopped the nuclear programme of Israel …”

As with all good conspiracy theories, genuine events of the day are used for plausibility and indeed there had been concerns in the US about Israel’s nuclear program, but inspectors from the US Atomic Energy Commission had been granted access to the Dimona reactor as early as 1961, with the first inspection taking place on the 20th of May that year.

Negotiations continued between Kennedy and Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion, and later with his successor, Levi Eshkol, which agreed to inspections of the site by the International Atomic Energy Agency in August 1963, months before the assassination.

As for Kennedy’s quote about Israeli nuclear plants? Like many other Kennedy ‘quotes’ there are no records he ever said this, or anything similar.

Others theorise that the President was murdered to stop him and his brother, Attorney General, Robert F. Kennedy, demanding the American Zionist Council (later to become AIPAC) being registered as a foreign agent, which could affect AZC donations and see all activities made public. If Kennedy was removed from office, it is claimed, the Department of Justice would drop their demands for transparency which would give the ‘Israeli Lobby’ freedom to operate without scrutiny.

But the DOJ and the Attorney General continued to pursue the matter and an agreement with the AZC was finalised in 1965 agreeing to the publication of all information, which foreign agents were obliged to supply, without registration. Letters and memos, released in 2008, also prove the aim of the Kennedy brothers was achieved as, on one of the final correspondences, J. Walter Yeagle, the Assistant Attorney General and Director of the Internal Security Division, added a note saying “OK. This seems to be what attorney Gen Kennedy and the then Dep AG Katzenbac had in mind.”

Enter Jack Ruby. The Jewish nightclub owner, minor league mobster, killer of Lee Harvey Oswald and anti-Zionist conspiracy theorists ‘smoking gun’. But once again their arguments aren’t backed up by facts.

There are dozens of different claims about Ruby’s involvement in the assassination of President Kenndy all of which are based on speculation, out of context quotes and misinformation. As a low level gangster, Ruby was not a man with ‘contacts’ or inside information. Had it not been for an unexpected delay in transferring Oswald from the police station to the Country Prison, Ruby would have arrived 30 minutes too late to carry out the assassination. According to those who knew Ruby he was no more than ‘a born loser’ with a big mouth and someone who would not be trusted with, or was capable of, carrying out a cover-up operation.

Years of research, testimonies from Ruby’s friends and acquaintances, as well as psychiatric assessments, have proven Ruby was no more than a deeply disturbed man who was prone to violence, memory lapses and who killed Oswald out of his sense of patriotism and, as his mental health deteriorated, a paranoid belief about a new form of antisemitic Government, leading him to claim he did it for the Jews, putting his own life in danger in the process.

Blaming Zionists for killing President Kennedy has one final, fatal flaw. John F. Kennedy was a committed Zionist who fought Antisemisim at every opportunity. Like his brother Robert F. Kennedy, who would be assassinated by a Christian Palestinian just 5 years later because of his unwavering support for Israel, Kennedy was a passionate friend to the Jewish community. For Zionists, removing JFK from The White House was not only unnecessary, it would have been completely counterproductive.
