Lawyer Adam Houda

On social media, Adam Houda has consistently posted messages about a perceived “genocide” and “Palestinian Holocaust,” falsely suggesting that the suffering of Palestinians is comparable to the historical atrocities committed against the Jewish people. Drawing a direct parallel between the Holocaust, in which millions of Jews were murdered, and the current situation in Gaza is considered antisemitic according to the IHRA definition of antisemitism. This comparison is misleading and highly offensive to Jews. The Holocaust was a systematic genocide carried out by Nazi Germany against Jews and other groups. Comparing contemporary conflicts to such an atrocity diminishes the unique historical suffering of Holocaust victims.

Additionally, the text in his social media posts appears to label Zionist Jews who support Israel as “criminal Zionists,” advocating for the banning of their actions and presence in Australia. Houda also asserts that rising antisemitism is a reaction to the actions of Israel, implying that the Israeli government’s policies and military actions against Hamas contribute to negative sentiments toward Jewish people. Holding Jews globally responsible for the actions of the Israeli government is considered antisemitism according to the IHRA definition.

Furthermore, in a post on X dated October 7, 2023, Houda claimed to support Palestinian resistance, which, given the timing, can be interpreted as a direct expression of support for violence and terrorism against Israelis.
