Background information
According to open-source information, Sara Segneri (also known as Sara Elizabeth Dill) [1] is an American lawyer and a prominent partner at Confinium Strategies, a London-based international legal and strategic consulting firm specializing in human rights, international criminal law, and global sanctions compliance. Her professional profile states that she serves as the Arab Region Officer and Vice-Chair of the War Crimes Committee for the International Bar Association; however, we were unable to corroborate this claim. In November 2025, she was appointed as a trustee [2] for Beyond Conflict UK, a mental health charity providing psychological support to civilians and frontline workers affected by war, terrorism, and displacement.
OFFENSIVE SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS
On October 7, 2023, while Hamas was carrying out brutal attacks against Jews, Sara Segneri posted on X to share her views on antisemitism. In her post, she appeared to justify the Hamas-led violence, suggesting it was a defense of human rights and justice. Her statement reflects a form of modern antisemitism as described by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA).
Further review of her social media activity reveals a pattern of strongly biased, false and misleading posts with antisemitic undertones, repeatedly labeling Israel’s actions in Gaza as “genocide” and alleging “atrocities” without a factual basis. She has also conspicuously failed to condemn the internationally designated terrorist organizations Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad for their deliberate attacks on civilians.
We also found a deeply offensive post on her timeline that tries to tie the Holocaust to Israel’s actions today, along with another post pushing the idea that the Jewish people have no historic or ongoing connection to the land of Israel.
Note: The image depicts a map of Israel, but the Arabic calligraphy and text read “فلسطين” (Palestine) and the prayer “اللهم كن لهم عونا ونصيرا,” which translates to “O Allah, be their helper and supporter.
Discrimination based on political views is illegal in most countries. In this screenshot, she appears to advocate for people who do not share her political stance on Palestine to be dismissed from their jobs. Compiling lists of individuals based on political or ethnic criteria echoes the same oppressive tactics once used by the Nazis to target and persecute certain groups.
Beyond Conflict partnered with the United Jewish Israel Appeal charity to support Israelis affected by the terror attacks on October 7. Sara Segneri and her hideous views should not be anywhere near Israelis, especially when they are being treated for trauma, as they could cause immense harm. We encourage you to report her divisive and hateful conduct online to her charity, Beyond Conflict UK.

This exposé was followed by a complaint letter concerning Sara Segneri’s conduct. We are pleased to report that Ms. Segneri is no longer a trustee of Beyond Conflict.
