Background information
Sean Adepoju is, according to his professional profile page on LinkedIn, a senior complaints officer and members’ enquiry officer at the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (Tower Hamlets Council).
On Facebook, under the alias “Sean Williams,” he posted, “Hitler was right.” We exposed him on X (formerly Twitter), and this matter has been reported to his employer. That Facebook post appears to have been deleted, but we forensically captured a snapshot of it.
We understand that Adepoju’s first response to the allegations was that “Sean Williams” made the “Hitler was right” comment, later claiming that the account was hacked. This excuse of “I’ve been hacked” is common when people get caught. We have solid evidence linking “Sean Williams” on Facebook to Sean Adepoju, and we address his claims below. We urge you to contact Tower Hamlets Council to demand action against Sean Adepoju, as well as the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman.
OSINT - SEAN WILLIAMS ON FACEBOOK IS SEAN ADEPOJU
We found that Sean Adepoju uses the same profile picture on several social media accounts. This same image was uploaded to Sean Williams’ “Profile Pictures” album on Facebook on Sunday, January 28, 2018. Additionally, the email address linked to his LinkedIn account is the same as the one for his Google account, which is a single sign-on that gives access to many Google services like Gmail, Google Maps, and Calendar. He also has a very distinctive mark in the area of skin directly above the upper eyelid.
There are no signs that his Facebook account has been hacked; there are no changes in the profile information and no unusual posts on the timeline. Sean Adepoju would need to provide evidence to support his claim that the account was hacked.
