Background information
London-based Yasmine Kherfi (ياسمين خرفي) is a writer, editor, and researcher. She is currently the Assistant Editor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) Middle East Centre. She is also a PhD candidate at the Sociology Department in LSE. Furthermore, Ms. Kherfi is a Current Fellow and Affiliate Researcher of SYRASP at Europe in the Middle East —The Middle East in Europe (EUME) – a project funded by the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
A review of her X account revealed praise for Hamas’ October 7 massacre, support for terrorists with blood on their hands, and antisemitism, including
- holding Israel to another standards, and
- making demonising and stereotypical allegations about Jews.
