Anthony Howell – Poet and Performance Artist

Anthony Howell is a poet, performance artist, and former dancer who trained with the Royal Ballet before moving into avant-garde performance and teaching. He is the founder of The Room in north London, a multi-disciplinary arts centre for literature, visual art, and dance, where he acts as director and curator, hosts open mic nights, exhibits visual work, and teaches Argentine tango.

Anthony Howell is also a Holocaust denier and an antisemite. A review of his account on the social media platform X found posts denying the Holocaust and claiming that attacks in which Jewish people were harmed were “false flags”. We also found posts expressing support for the proscribed terrorist organisation Hamas, calling for the destruction of Israel, and promoting antisemitic conspiracies.
