- Journalistic Association: Several press freedom organizations, including the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) and the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), identified Bilal Muhammad Rajab as a camera operator for Al-Quds Today TV (القدس اليوم), a satellite television channel affiliated with the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terrorist group.
- Militant Affiliation: A Telegram channel dedicated to the military media of the ‘Palestinian resistance’ issued an obituary recognizing Bilal Muhammad Rajab as a member of the Shuja’iyya Battalion of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). This tribute was also shared by Bilal’s brother on Facebook.
