Charity Commission Urged to Remove Sun of Freedom Trustee Moath Hamzeh Over Antisemitism and Pro-Hamas Brand Links

Background information

Moath “Mo” Hamzeh is vice chair and a trustee of the UK-registered charity Sun of Freedom. He is based in Jersey City, New Jersey. Hamzeh is also a social media activist, content creator, and former corporate healthcare professional. His accounts are routinely banned, reportedly due to repeated rule violations. The most recent suspension was his X account, @mo_hamz, though a replacement has already been created under the handle @ayamollah (with the display name “Mo”).

A Telegraph article published on 29 August 2026 raised concerns about a merchandise collection Hamzeh designed. The line is created and sold in collaboration with Warrior Ink Apparel. Critics said the collection promoted terrorism, violence and antisemitism; Sun of Freedom denied those allegations.

Our Investigation

On 1 September 2026, we identified Hamzeh’s Warrior Ink Apparel business partner as Abdallah Nofan Ahmad. Our earlier post documented Ahmad’s public support for Hamas, his justification of the 7 October attacks and antisemitic material (digital evidence attached at the bottom of this post). We then reviewed Hamzeh’s own public posts.

The material reviewed includes repeated antisemitic conspiracy theories, abusive language and apparent threats.

Spreading Antisemitic Tropes and Global Conspiracy Theories

On February 7, 2026, Hamzeh published a post on X featuring a video graphic linking Israel and Jews to claims about Rothschild control of banks, control of Western politicians and media, 9/11 attacks, the JFK assassination, sex trafficking and other antisemitic tropes and conspiracy theories.

Hamzeh captioned the graphic with a dehumanising statement: “They are a cancer to society and must be excized [sic].”

On July 30, 2026, Hamzeh published a video reel to his active backup Instagram account, @aya.mo.llah, using an altered US Great Seal with a Star of David in place of the thirteen stars. The message echoed the antisemitic “Zionist Occupied Government” conspiracy theory: that Israel or Jews secretly control the US government.

Dehumanizing Language, Threats of Violence, and Nazi Comparisons

On August 6, 2026, Hamzeh posted a video reel to his @aya.mo.llah Instagram account saying: “Israel does not exist, nor does it have a right to.” He referred to Israel as “the world’s cancerous little cyst” and said, “now it’s time to excise you.” He also said, “you might as well slit your wrist,” compared Israelis to Nazis, and ended: “You can run, but we will find you.”

Disinformation and Global Conspiracies

On August 13, 2026, Hamzeh posted a five-minute video compilation to his @aya.mo.llah Instagram account referring to “Zionist Jewish supremacist tentacles” that were “metastasizing and infecting our planet.”

The video repeated extreme anti-Jewish conspiracy theories and disinformation propaganda, including false claims that Zionists and “fellow Jewish supremacists” control governments, banks, news organisations, global conflicts, trafficking networks and other global events. It also claimed Zionists worked with the Nazis to kill Jews.

Hamzeh ended the video by explicitly framing the Jewish people as a unified existential threat, saying that Jews “serve no purpose in our society” and should be forced out of power.

Hamzeh has also promoted clothing carrying the slogan: “ZIONISM IS RACISM IS FASCISM IS TERRORISM IS ISRAEL.” Whatever someone’s views on Israeli government policy, the posts above go far beyond political criticism. They rely on long-established antisemitic conspiracy theories about Jewish control, criminality and collective guilt.

Planned UK Visit

Hamzeh is advertised to appear in the UK in November 2026:

• Sun of Freedom’s 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala at October Gallery, London — 6 November.
• A London documentary screening and Q&A — 14 November.

Given the content documented above, the Home Office should assess whether his entry would be conducive to the public good. The government has powers to refuse entry where a person’s presence is considered harmful to the public interest.

Sun of Freedom

Hamzeh remains vice chair and trustee of Sun of Freedom. That raises serious questions for both the charity and the Charity Commission.

Charity trustees are expected to protect their charity’s reputation and act in its best interests. A charity cannot credibly present itself as humanitarian while one of its senior trustees publicly spreads antisemitic conspiracy theories, uses dehumanising language and appears to threaten violence.

The Charity Commission should investigate Sun of Freedom and consider whether Hamzeh is fit to continue as a trustee.
