Damon Pelham
Social Media “influencer” | Director at Pelham Enterprises | Lake Grace, Western Australia
Background information
X (formerly Twitter) user @Resist_05 has been on our radar for some time due to their sharing of antisemitic content and deliberately spreading false information about Israel.
Recently, we received clues that allowed us to confidently confirm this X user’s identity as Damon Pelham from Grace Lake, Western Australia.
Online sources indicate Damon is a director at Pelham Enterprises, a family business that offers rural contracting services. Additionally, he appears to be serving on the Lake Grace District High School Board, and is involved with the Lake Grace Pingrup Football Club.
Since October 7, 2023, Damon Pelham has nearly tripled his followers on X to over 325K. His posts primarily demonize Israel and Jewish people, resulting in high engagement from “Pro Palestine activists” and antisemites. Furthermore, he spreads disinformation about Israel’s war on Hamas, promoting narratives that deny Hamas’ horrific crimes against Israeli civilians.
We urge you to report him to Western Australia Police.
SPREADING ANTISEMITISM & INCITING HATRED
Note: The “our race is the master race” quote has been incorrectly attributed to Menachem Begin. In fact, it originates from an article in “Power of Prophecy,” written by American Christian preacher and antisemite Texe Marrs.
Note: This video clip was created by ‘Inspector Bloor,’ who is dressed in a hat, fake beard, and bathrobe. He produced this comedic skit for the viewers of a well-known live streaming webcam in Texas, dubbed ‘The Window of Life,’ on its final day of broadcasting.
‘Inspector Bloor’ clarified that he intended it as a joke and never expected anyone to take it seriously as a genuine Rabbi. Despite this, extremist accounts continue to circulate the video as if it were authentic.
JUSTIFYING THE HAMAS-LED OCTOBER 7 ATTACK
Note: Max Blumenthal has a track record of downplaying Hamas’s horrific crimes against Israeli civilians, including promoting the conspiracy theory that Israel killed its own citizens on October 7. In this recorded talk, he uses a deliberately fabricated quotes to justify the terror attack and absolve Hamas of responsibility.
It is important to note that Ben-Gurion did not say, “We must expel Arabs and take their places,” and Arnon Soffer did not advocate for the killing of Palestinians.
ERASING HAMAS' OCTOBER 7 ATROCIOUS CRIMES
Note: This infrared footage from an IDF helicopter, publicly released by the Israeli Defense Forces, shows them targeting Hamas militants attempting to breach Israel’s border on October 7. Geo-location data confirms that this incident occurred 10 kilometers from the Nova music festival. Claims on social media suggesting that the IDF video proves “many people” were killed by the IDF at the music festival are false.
SPREADING ANTISEMITIC CONSPIRACIES & FAKE NEWS
Note:
1. The assassination of President John F. Kennedy (JFK) was not connected to Israel’s “Nuclear programme“. This notion is regarded as “one of the crankiest, craziest, and nuttiest” conspiracy theories out there. In fact, JFK was a committed supporter of Zionism.
2. Thomas Hagan, a former member of the Nation of Islam and one of the men convicted in the murder of Malcolm X, expressed regrets and sorrow for having shot him.
3. The image of a child sleeping on graves was staged and was not taken in Gaza. It was captured by Abdelaziz, a Saudi amateur photographer in Yanbaa city in Saudi Arabia, who created it as part of a fictional tragic scene to raise awareness about the horrific realities faced by real children.
4. Officially, Ghassan Kanafani was the spokesperson of the terror organisation Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). He was assassinated in Beirut in July 1972 allegedly for his role in the Lod Airport Massacre.
5. The statements about the Gaza Strip are historically inaccurate. Asserting that Israel’s war on Hamas and its actions in Gaza are equivalent to the establishment of extermination camps is entirely false.
- From 1949 to 1956 and again from 1957 to 1967, the Gaza Strip was under Egyptian military rule. Before that, it was part of the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine.
- Israel fully withdrew from Gaza in September 2005, transferring control of the area to the Palestinians.
