- Death: Saeed Amin Saeed Abu Hassanein (سعيد امين سعيد ابوحسنين) was killed on April 23, 2025, reportedly in an airstrike that targeted him on al-Biaa Street (شارع البيئة) in Deir al-Balah, located in the center of the Gaza Strip.
- Journalistic Association: The Palestinian Journalist Protection Center, Al Jazeera, and several news media outlets affiliated with Hamas have inaccurately described Saeed Abu Hassanein as a journalist. In a statement following his death, Al-Aqsa Voice Radio (إذاعة صوت الأقصى), a radio station operated by Hamas, stated that he had been a sound engineer for over 20 years.
- Militant Affiliation: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet (Israel’s domestic security and counterintelligence agency) confirmed the elimination of Saeed Amin Saeed Abu Hassanein, who served in Hamas’ Nukhba forces within the Deir al-Balah Brigade and participated in the October 7 massacre in Kissufim.
