In a statement following his death, Al-Aqsa Voice Radio (إذاعة صوت الأقصى), a radio station operated by Hamas, stated that he had been a sound engineer for over 20 years.
  • Militant Affiliation: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet (Israel’s domestic security and counterintelligence agency) confirmed the elimination of Saeed Amin Saeed Abu Hassanein, who served in Hamas’ Nukhba forces within the Deir al-Balah Brigade and participated in the October 7 massacre in Kissufim.

Update (July 6, 2026): Hamas-affiliated Aqmar Tofan (أقمار الطوفان), a Telegram channel that commemorates Al-Qassam militants killed during the “Al-Aqsa Flood” (Tufan al-Aqsa), published an obituary identifying Saeed Amin Abu Hassanein as a field commander of the Hattin Battalion (Deir al-Balah) within Al-Qassam Central Brigade. The personalised photo and video montage also featured images of him during the Hamas-led attack on October 7.
